Angels Help the United Way

Pommier Jewellers and Corus Entertainment raised $5,500 for the United Way S, D and G through the Angels Among Us campaign, which donated the proceeds from the sale of a limited edition pewter angel Christmas ornaments. United Way executive director Karen Turchetto, accepts the donation from André and Georges Pommier and Variety 104’s morning show host Wayne Thompson. Everyone who purchased an Angels Among Us ornament at Pommier Jewellers in 2008 was entered into a draw for an angel pendant. The winner, Delia Loiselle, is presented with the pendant by André and his father Georges. Over the past 7 years, we are proud to have donated over $35,000 to the Cornwall and surrounding areas United Way. Our 8th annual Christmas Angel is in the making.
