In September of 2008 Bijouterie Pommier Jewellers took the initiative to showcase products with gold extracted solely from Canadian mines. Our goal is to have each and every one of our customers able to have a truly Canadian experience, complemented with one of our strongest brands, Canadian Maple Leaf Diamonds. We invite you to witness this true north splendor. Be proud of your heritage and wear a unique design declaring ‘Made in Canada’. We were able to offer this service by securing agreements with suppliers to ensure that the only gold acquired is from various Canadian mines. This new branding will be known as “Canadian Certified Gold”. As the name implies, each piece of jewellery will come with a small tag, authenticating its Canadian origins. Along with this, every single gold piece will be stamped with a unique mark of authentication.

In this new era, we encounter a much more conscientious consumer, one concerned with more than just the cut of the diamond or what colour of gold they want their ring to be. This new breed of consumer is interested in one very important thing. They wish to know the country of origin.
