The Beauty of Pewter

Pewter requires minimal upkeep.

Pewter articles do not tarnish or require polishing, as pewter is not plated, there is no danger of its surface flaking.

Pewter should be hand washed with soap and warm water and followed with a good towel drying. Pewter should not be allowed to air dry because it may leave water spots that are difficult to remove. It can not be placed in dishwasher, oven or on a burner.

Pewter should not be used for cooking or storing food or beverages. However, it is ideal for a serving vessel for all kinds of foods and beverages.
